In no particular order, here are some of my favorite products!!
SwimFin is a wearable teaching tool which helps swimmers learn their buoyancy. It is a wonderful tool which looks and feels like a toy but does not interfere with a swimmer’s arm function unlike life jackets and puddle jumpers.
Get yours below! You can find them on Amazon but don’t fall for the knockoffs! The real thing is tested, researched and backed by testing to provide the adequate amount of flotation.
Many swim instructors discourage flotation aids, but I believe in using tools thoughtfully—especially when they provide an added layer of peace of mind. If you have multiple children who are not yet water confident or water competent, I highly recommend these vests. They’re one of my favorite options for supervision with young swimmers.
The vests feature eight removable float sections, allowing you to gradually adjust buoyancy as a child’s skills improve, all without restricting natural arm movement in the water.
Like any swim tool, they should be used intentionally and for limited periods of time. When worn, it’s important to encourage and maintain a proper horizontal swim position to support healthy movement patterns and skill development
